Appearance and SEO
Set the identity and describe each page.
Define a consistent base
Identity sets the name, logo and tagline. Appearance controls fonts, width, density, colours, buttons, header and footer. Logo/title/tagline variants remain available; only one appears at a time. Start with a small palette.
Distinguish the titles
The document title identifies the content. The visible heading is composed on the page, except for articles and the Journal, which have an automatic H1. The SEO title describes the page in metadata and can differ without changing visible blocks.
Complete the metadata
Set a descriptive SEO title, a page-specific description and a suitable share image. Canonical URLs depend on the domain configured during installation. Aries builds the sitemap and language relationships from available content.
Choose what is indexed
The exclusion setting adds noindex and removes that variant from the sitemap. Imported content demonstrates it here. This does not protect data: a published page remains accessible at its URL. Also check keyboard access, contrast and reading at 320 px.
