AriesMy lightweight, documented CMS without SQL

Workshop / Administration

The work behind a page.

The public website shows the result. These screenshots and tasks explain how to produce it in Aries.

Write where you read

The document title sits above the blocks. Select a block to edit its text, then open its settings when needed. List view, search, the / shortcut and focus mode help navigate longer pages.

Protect the work in progress

Reusable content blocks.

Reuse a good composition

Three sections are included in this demo: a documentation callout, a three-step process and a text/image composition. Insert one, then adapt its blocks. It is a copy, not a globally linked component.

Media, with context

The native Aries media library.

Alternative text, captions and focal points belong to the media library. Uploading an image is also available directly in the builder.

Appearance without a new theme

Aries appearance controls.

This demo uses system fonts, a warm background, a dark green and a terracotta accent. Header identity, navigation, buttons and footer use the native appearance settings.

Maintenance is part of the project

What can I check?

Site quality identifies headings, links and image-description issues. Search finds content. The dashboard and local help provide starting points.

What about backups?

A backup contains content and uploads. Restoration checks its manifest and prepares replacement transactionally. Keep the engine archive separately.

Can I try an update here?

Updates are private administrative operations. They require reauthentication and an appropriate signed update package. This complete demo archive is not an update package.
