Start with a clean archive and finish activation.

You need PHP hosting, FTP access and the complete version archive. This demo was checked with PHP 8.3. INSTALLATION.md in the package describes prerequisites and installer checks.

Upload the files to a test directory. Create content/install.key with a long unique secret as described in INSTALLATION.md. Open admin/install.php, enter the secret, then your account, actual site URL and storage choice. Until installation completes, the public site stays on hold.

Administration opens and the website becomes available. Installation is locked and the startup key is removed. Check the homepage, an English page, an article and Contact. If a prerequisite is missing, fix it with the host before retrying.

For a failed first installation, start in a new empty directory after preserving useful data. A demo archive includes its own content: do not place it over an existing site’s content and uploads.
