This diagram simplifies the rendering path: JSON holds content, PHP prepares the page and the browser displays HTML and CSS.

These three SVGs are local files, reused elsewhere on this site. Their descriptions are stored in the media library and can be overridden for a specific use.

External video, by choice

This native Video block embeds Big Buck Bunny, an example from the Blender Foundation. It demonstrates embedding rather than Aries itself. The YouTube player stays blocked until you allow external content. Film website.

A deliberate trade-off

A video uses more bandwidth and an external service. It is optional, has no autoplay, and is not loaded on the homepage. Revoke consent in the footer to remove a player that is already open.
